We had decided to take a stroll around the city at night as many of the larger towering buildings were fully illuminated at night. Firstly though we headed to Jalan Alor (Alor Street) to get some street food; we tucked into a delicious oyster omellette and rice porridge with pork.
The streets had become alive as night fell, with tables and chairs from local restaurants spilling onto the streets, cars trying to carefully dodge the people sat tucking into fresh seafood and various other delicacies. We walked past a stall selling durian, a fruit that is all but banned from every establishment thanks to there putrid smell.
As we left the busy streets behind and headed towards the Golden Triangle the KL tower came into view, and then around another corner we caught our first glimpse of the Petronas towers shinning in their full illuminated glory for all to see.
We went to the foot of them and joined the crowds laying on the ground looking up and marvelling once again.
