Yes, it is official the Aussies let us in!!
After a very early start at our hostel in Singapore and a short bus journey to the airport (probably the best one in the world...they have a swimming pool on the roof and everyhing!) we had breakfast at the airport, a quick explore and before we knew it our flight was on final call. A quick run for the plane, boarded and we were away up in the air overlooking the South China Sea.
As we settled down to our inflight movies and food the journey seemed to pass within no time at all! The 5 hour flight went very quickly, and we were soon making our descent into Perth. Upon landing we went through immigration (e-visas worked a treat) and then to customs for bag scanning. Once through into the main hall we booked a bus to the city and took the short ride with our comedian bus driver. Dropped at the door of the YHA Perth City, our base for the next 3 nights, we checked in and made ourselves comfortable in our mixed dorm before heading out for an explore.We purchased some food from the local supermarket and headed to the hostel to make dinner, and after our fine meal partook in our first 'stubby' at the hostel bar.

ReplyDeleteHave a fab time in Oz. Very jealous. All well here, Joseph is very excited that you've got to Australia, he's been asking for ages when you'll get there. He thinks that you might bump into Uncle John,I've tried explaining that it's a very big country...
