Monday – a run in with some cuttlefish

We spent a fair bit of time today out on the reef, and were lucky enough to spot a new species of fish that we hadn’t seen before – a cuttlefish.  It is a very strange looking creature, which changed colour frequently in the time we stopped to observe it.  It appeared to just hover in the water, and had tentacles in it’s mouth to help it feed.

We also saw a poisonous baby sea snake, but sadly hadn’t taken the camera out this afternoon.

As we sit relaxing today we realise that the time is growing nearer to leave, sadly our time in paradise is drawing to a close.
