When the alarms went off at 3am we were not ready to be getting up, but as we had a 4am pick up at the hostel we jumped out of bed and packed up the last of our things.
We arrived at Honolulu airport at 5am and checked in for our American Airlines flight to Los Angeles.
While we were waiting for the gates to open Nicola found the best toilet sign she had seen yet…this pictures for you Jo!! We feel sorry for the disabled man, who appears to be clothes-less!
The flight was on time and 5 hours after taking off from the hot and sunny Honolulu we landed in the grey, smoggy and cool Los Angeles.
We jumped in a shuttle bus and completed the days journey arriving at the hostel at 5:30pm (LA is 3 hours ahead of Hawaii).
As we felt shattered the first priority was dinner and then chilling out…and obviously planning the next couple of days.
