After yesterdays action packed day we decided to have a lazy morning about the van. The sun was up and the clouds were high, so we opened up the windows and let the air in.
Once we had had lunch we wandered into town and visited the Underwater Observatory beside Lake Wakatipu, where we saw scaup ducks (diving ducks), long finned eels, and brown and rainbow trout.
A quick ice cream on the lake front and we parted company so Nicola could buy Ben’s birthday presents.
Tonight it our last night in Queenstown before continuing our journey south.

How do you know about Fergburger ?? Their burgers looked good, but the place was always heaving so we didn't bother - went for good old fashioned pub grub at the Pig & Whistle instead
