Thursday & Friday – just chilling out in Mount Cotton!

So, after our hectic little journey north out of Sydney for the past two weeks we decided to resist the urges of speeding off out and seeing the sights Brisbane had to offer and instead chilled out for two days.

Thursday we caught up on our laundry, spent time on the internet and read, before Elaine, Rob and the Girls arrived home from their day at work/school.  And, we were treated to an authentic Aussie Barbie that night by Chef Rob…a meat feast of sausages, steak, prawns and salad – yummy!!

P5010352Friday, after months of deliberation we relented and went out in search of a notebook (mini laptop to all you technophobes).  Several shopping malls later and we finally got our hands on what we were looking for.  On getting back to the house Ben did the techie bits and bobs whilst Nicola left him to it!

That night we hopped on the train from Cleveland with Elaine and met Rob in Southbank, a bustling restaurant and bar area on the banks of the river in the centre of Brisbane.  The atmosphere was buzzing as people jostled through the markets and the live music played out from the pub we were sat outside.  A lovely evening had by all!
