As it was a lovely clear day (but not sunny or hot) we were lucky enough to see many kangaroos and emus, as they were all out grazing in the cool climate!
We spent the afternoon at the hostel in the lounge reading, as we were waiting for the Autopia tour bus to come and pick us up for our journey back to Melbourne. Whilst waiting we saw the resident kookaburra.
At 5pm the bus arrived and we hopped on for our 4 hour journey back to the city. A quick dinner stop at Beaufort allowed us to grab some chips from the chippy, and then we were back on the bus for the remaining 200 kms to Melbourne.
Our bed for the night was at the Melbourne Oasis YHA - an Oasis of noise thanks to the 20 or so British Girl Guides that were staying there!! Luckily they quietened down and we got a good nights sleep!
